Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club is seeking Welfare Support Officers to join the Safeguarding Team at Villa Park. You will be the first point of contact for safeguarding and welfare incidents across matchdays and events, providing calm, professional customer service and real-time updates to the control room.

These roles require availability for evenings and weekends, with at least 80% of Women’s First Team home matches and flexible involvement in other events at Villa Park and the Sports Illustrated

Qualifications

• Experience in events or stadium environments preferred.
• Experience in safeguarding and welfare roles preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to safeguarding and welfare incidents within your designated location and resolve immediately where possible; escalate where needed.
• Be the first point of contact for attendees and respond to incidents during matchdays and events.
• Provide real-time, accurate updates to the control room and ensure thorough incident reports are completed post-event.
• Collaborate with Matchday and Venue teams to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for fans and guests.
