Job summary

RIEDEL Communications is seeking an Event Technician (m/f/d) – Warehouse Operations to keep our logistics and warehouse processes running smoothly while supporting the preparation and handling of cutting‑edge event technology.

This hands-on role focuses on order picking, packing, goods receipt, stock checks, and collaboration with international teams on live productions. Fluent English and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; additional languages a plus.
• Hands-on and proactive mindset with can-do attitude.
• Experience with MS Office and basic knowledge of CRM/ERP systems such as SAP.
• Technical affinity or interest in electronics and event technology.
• Strong organisational skills with structured, process-oriented approach and good communication across cultures.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for on-site support of events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including order picking, packaging, goods receipt, storage preparation, and shipment coordination.
• Ensure proper shipment packaging, process returns efficiently, and support timely deliveries to customers and project locations.
• Design, supervise, and program technical solutions and equipment in line with the Managed Technology Core Workflow.
• Prepare, configure, and support the implementation of technical equipment, with troubleshooting and reporting on demand, including on-site support.
• Maintain CRM and ERP systems with accurate data entry, monitor bookings, and support smooth operational processes.
• Conduct inventory checks, support annual stocktaking activities, and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, customers, and external partners on national and international projects and communications.
