Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for an Event Steward to ensure crowd safety and excellent customer experience at events. You will check tickets, assist attendees, and monitor for distress while coordinating with staff to maintain a smooth and safe environment.

Ideal candidates will have the right to work in the UK, thrive in fast-paced settings, and bring customer-focused interpersonal skills. Experience in security/stewarding or events is desirable, with a calm, adaptable approach under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check tickets to ensure only authorised individuals enter the event.
• Assist and seat customers, provide directions and information.
• Manage crowd safety and queue management for orderly movement.
• Monitor visitors for distress or medical needs and respond appropriately.
• Ensure health, safety and comfort of customers during their stay.
• Communicate effectively with event staff for seamless coordination.
• Provide excellent customer service and address attendee queries.
