Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team for various events across the United Kingdom. You will play a key role in setting up venues, welcoming guests, assisting with food and bar service, and ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, knowledge of food safety, and strong interpersonal skills. This is an adhoc, on-site role with varied hours, including evenings and weekends, at different venues around Carmarthenshire

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
• Bartending skills are a plus, with ability to craft basic cocktails and serve beverages efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with guests and team members alike.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in event execution.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and decorations.
• Provide excellent guest services by greeting attendees, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
• Support food preparation and service, adhering to food safety standards to guarantee a safe dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages, including bartending duties when required, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas throughout the event.
• Assist with catering tasks as needed, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
