Job summary

Vibe Recruit is recruiting for Pot Washers / Kitchen Assistants to join a busy events venue in the Cwmbran area. You will support the kitchen team, wash pots, and help with event preparation throughout a variety of functions.

Ideal candidates have around 2 years’ experience in kitchen or hospitality, demonstrate reliability, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Shifts typically run 10am–10pm with approx. 35 hours weekly and full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years' experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and with pot washing.

Responsibilities

• Making sandwiches and basic food preparation.
• Helping and supporting the chefs with day-to-day kitchen duties.
• Washing pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen to a high standard.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Assisting with preparation for events.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
