Job summary

Showsec International is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Sheffield to lead security operations at high-profile events. You will manage casual staff, deliver inductions, briefings, coaching, and debriefings while ensuring safety and client expectations are met.

The role reports to the Area Manager and requires progression through the Management Development Programme (MDP). You will coordinate incident responses, monitor budgets, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or large staffing deployments.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of security strategies and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision of high-quality operations at events by managing casual workforce.
• Deliver inductions, briefings, coaching, and debriefings for casual workers.
• Lead security operations to ensure safety and client satisfaction.
• Plan and coordinate incident responses for events.
• Manage security operations budget and document processes.
• Record pre/post event documentation and risk assessments.
