THE COMPANY

Our client is a global business specializing in supplying to the events industry. They provide water and temporary structures for events, festivals, concerts, sports events, cultural events, expos, exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and hospitality & culinary fairs such as the Olympics and F1.

As a market leader, they handle over 1,500 events and projects annually. Now is an excellent time for an Event Sales Manager to join this thriving organization!

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join this dynamic business. You will be responsible for managing accounts of major events and festivals across the UK.

Your duties include selling products and services within the event industry, acquiring new customers, and developing existing client relationships. You will oversee the commercial aspects of projects from initial site visits to post-event evaluations.

The role requires creativity in rental processes and adding value through sustainability initiatives. This is a challenging position in the vibrant world of expos and events.

Reporting directly to the CCO, responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth
  2. Identifying new business opportunities and maintaining a sales pipeline
  3. Managing key accounts and complex deals
  4. Representing the company at industry events to build brand presence
  5. Preparing proposals, tenders, and pitches
  6. Monitoring sales figures and reporting to senior management
  7. Collaborating with the project team for smooth client handovers
  8. Negotiating strategic and price agreements with clients
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Event Sales Manager with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You should be flexible, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and a motivated team player with strong communication skills.
