Job description

EVENT PROJECT MANAGER | LONDON | EVENTS AGENCY

Comp salary + excellent bens.

| Hybrid 3 x Office Days | International travel

Ready to step into a role where you can take real ownership of exciting event projects?

We’re working with an established London-based events agency that is looking for an experienced Event Project Manager to join its growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid agency-side event production experience who enjoys variety, responsibility and working across multiple clients and projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll be delivering a diverse portfolio of corporate events and experiences, including:

  • Internal conferences and employee events
  • Recognition and celebration events
  • Strategy launches
  • Meetings and conferences

You’ll work across a variety of sectors, managing projects from initial brief through to delivery and taking ownership of the operational, financial and supplier management required to make them happen.

There will also be opportunities to get involved in creative development, proposals and pitches, so this is much more than a purely logistical role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Lead and deliver your own event projects, with support from senior agency colleagues where required
  • Manage client communication, suppliers, production, logistics, content and technical delivery
  • Own project budgets and ensure projects are delivered commercially and efficiently
  • Manage timelines, documentation, risk assessments and event safety requirements
  • Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Contribute to creative meetings, proposals and new business pitches
  • Coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Take responsibility, solve problems and keep things moving when plans change
WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll ideally have 3+ years’ event production experience within an agency environment, with a strong track record of delivering live events.

You’ll be someone who:

Owns it – takes responsibility and drives projects forward.

Stays calm – handles pressure and changing priorities without drama.

Thinks creatively – challenges the obvious and finds solutions.

Gets stuck in – happy managing the detail as well as the bigger picture.

Works collaboratively – enjoys being part of a team and brings positive energy.

Delivers – has the organisation and attention to detail to see projects through properly.

Experience of video production would be useful, but isn’t essential.

THE PRACTICALS

London | Hybrid working

UK & international travel – you’ll need to be comfortable with periods of significant travel

Full UK driving licence and access to your own car ideally.

This would suit an ambitious Event Project Manager looking for their next step with an agency where they can broaden their experience, take greater ownership and work on a genuinely varied portfolio of events.
