• Commercially aware with experience managing costs, payroll, stock and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee setup and operation of event spaces, ensuring rooms and facilities meet standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, allocate responsibilities and ensure staffing levels.
• Work with all departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
• Manage departmental stock, payroll and operating costs in line with targets.
• Develop and review training and performance of team members.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Manage agency staffing requirements and forecasts to meet business demand.

Salary: Up to A GBP 50,000 + Service Charge

Location: West of London

We are working with a leading luxury hospitality group seeking an Event Operations Manager for a prestigious 5 star Hotel west of London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the smooth running of the Events Operations department, delivering exceptional service across a diverse range of luxury corporate and social events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction
• Oversee the set:up and operation of event spaces, ensuring all rooms and facilities are presented to the required standards
• Conduct daily pre:shift briefings, allocate responsibilities and ensure effective staffing levels across events
• Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication and event delivery
• Manage departmental stock, ordering, payroll and operating costs in line with financial targets
• Manage training, development and performance reviews, supporting the team to achieve their individual and departmental goals
• Monitor guest feedback and service levels, identifying opportunities to improve the overall guest experience
• Manage agency staffing requirements and forecasts, ensuring staffing levels meet business demands
