Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Events Operations role within a luxury or 5 star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of event operations and high-end food and beverage service.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
• Commercially aware with experience managing costs, payroll, stock and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the set-up and operation of event spaces to required standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and allocate responsibilities with staffing levels.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Manage departmental stock, payroll and operating costs in line with targets.
• Coach and develop the team to meet goals.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve service.
• Forecast agency staffing and ensure adequate staffing for events.

Job Title: Event Operations Manager - 5 Star Hotel

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Service Charge

Location: West of London

We are working with a leading luxury hospitality group seeking an Event Operations Manager for a prestigious 5 star Hotel west of London.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the smooth running of the Events Operations department, delivering exceptional service across a diverse range of luxury corporate and social events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction
• Oversee the set-up and operation of event spaces, ensuring all rooms and facilities are presented to the required standards
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, allocate responsibilities and ensure effective staffing levels across events
• Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication and event delivery
• Manage departmental stock, ordering, payroll and operating costs in line with financial targets
• Manage training, development and performance reviews, supporting the team to achieve their individual and departmental goals
• Monitor guest feedback and service levels, identifying opportunities to improve the overall guest experience
• Manage agency staffing requirements and forecasts, ensuring staffing levels meet business demands
