Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Events Operations role within a luxury or 5 star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of event operations and high-end food and beverage service.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events.
• Commercially aware with experience managing costs, payroll, stock and budgets.
• Confident in handling guest feedback.
• Strong coaching, training and team development skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and luxury service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Operations team, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee setup and operation of event spaces, ensuring rooms and facilities meet standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, allocate responsibilities and ensure staffing levels.
• Work with all departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
• Manage departmental stock, payroll and operating costs in line with targets.
• Develop and review training and performance of team members.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Manage agency staffing requirements and forecasts to meet business demand.
