Job description

Flowd is an award-winning B2B outbound marketing agency of around 40 people across the UK and Europe. Events are our confirmed priority channel for 2027: each one has consistently turned into new business.

We're hiring one senior, hands-on marketer to own that channel end to end and turn it into a predictable source of pipeline.

The role

This is an events-first role tied directly to revenue. Most of your time goes on planning, promoting and running Flowd's events programme, both online and in person, with a target of around one event a month and one deal per event. Alongside that you'll own a capped set of always-on marketing work that keeps the engine running. AI tools handle much of the execution, so what we need is experienced judgement and the drive to deliver.

What you’ll own
1. Events programme (priority, the bulk of your time)
  • Plan the events calendar: webinars, in-person events, roundtables and conference presence
  • Ideate formats and topics that attract the right B2B decision-makers
  • Build promotion campaigns through LinkedIn outreach and email
  • Produce event assets with the CMO, from landing pages to slides
  • Host and run events on the day, in person in Manchester and online
  • Own follow-up so attendees turn into booked meetings and closed deals
2. Email and CRM reactivation
  • Two Klaviyo sends a week, one of which can promote events
  • Run reactivation campaigns to lapsed leads and past prospects
3. Content and website
  • One SEO and GEO-optimised blog a week, with event content feeding it
  • Weekly website content updates where needed
4. Credibility (background work)
  • Run the case study pipeline, from booking client shoots to getting sign-off
  • Build and maintain our review strategy, such as Trustpilot
  • Source PR opportunities: awards, podcasts and publications
How you’ll work
  • Event weeks come first; blogs and email sends are batched ahead
  • Monthly planning session with the CMO to agree the event calendar, content and campaigns
  • You’ll work alongside our internal and external team members for content creation, assets, and operational needs.
How success is measured
  • One (or more) events a month delivered
  • Deals sourced from events, which is where your commission comes from
  • Consistent delivery of the weekly blog and email cadence
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience planning and running B2B events, both in person and online
  • Comfortable hosting events and leading them on the day
  • Track record of tying marketing activity to pipeline and revenue
  • Confident with email marketing, ideally Klaviyo
  • Strong writer who can produce SEO-friendly content
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work faster
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and hits deadlines
  • Based in or near Manchester, able to travel to the office and to events
  • Agency, lead-gen or B2B services background
  • Experience with HubSpot, Lemlist and Webflow (or similar).
  • Existing network in the UK B2B or agency scene
  • PR or awards experience
Our hiring process
  • First interview with HR a conversation to check alignment on the role, values and ways of working.
  • Second interview with Ash (CMO): a deeper look at your events experience, marketing skills and how you drive results.
  • Final stage with Ash and Mitch (co-founder): you’ll present how you would run Flowd’s events programme, covering your ideas, formats, promotion plan and how you’d execute it. We want to see how you think and how you present.
  • Remote working or hybrid
  • Opportunities to work in different countries with travel paid for!
  • Great commission structure
  • Christmas shutdown period on top of your annual leave allowance
