A leading event management company is seeking an Event Manager to join their vibrant team in the UK. This role involves planning and executing various events, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful event delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong project management skills. You will also benefit from flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to travel internationally.
Job Title: Event Manager
Job Type: Permanent/Full time – Hybrid/flexible working available after probationary period (six months)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours a week, core hours between 10am–12pm, 2pm–4pm
Salary: 38,000 – 40,000 per annum

Job Purpose:
As a Event Manager you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a wide range of events from conferences, annual kick–off, dinners, networking events and cultural experiences.
Duties include:
Managing projects from start to finish through the full event life cycle
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising on every aspect of the event
Financial and budgeting responsibility, often in multiple currencies
Creating the event concept in line with the client's objectives
Negotiations with the hotels, venues, and other suppliers
Managing and supporting internal and external team members collaborating on the project
Delivering events on site
Reporting and analytics
What we're looking for:
At least 3 year's experience in the events industry, working in a similar role
Able to manage complex events in–person, virtually or as a hybrid
Strong project management skills
Flexibility – You will need to be flexible to suit the needs of the business and their clients and this role will involve international travel so you must be prepared to stay away from home as and when required.
A real problem solver with a proactive approach to their work
Fluency in Spanish or French would be amazing but it is not a must
Ideally, you will be located within a one–hour commute of Rye, East Sussex.
