Job summary

Mint People is seeking enthusiastic Event Assistants to work across a variety of venues and events in the United Kingdom. You will help with venue set-up, ticket scanning, ushering guests, packing down, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. No prior experience required; candidates should be friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with guests.

Pay is £14.50 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay. Uniform is a smart black shirt, trousers and shoes.

Mint People are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Event Assistants to work across a variety of events and venues, such as Candlelight Concerts, The Jazz Room, An Idiot’s Guide to Wine, and The Jury Experience!

Your Role:

As an Event Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Venue Set-Up – Helping prepare event spaces before doors open.
• Ticket Scanning – Greeting guests and ensuring smooth entry.
• Ushering & Guest Assistance – Providing directions and answering questions.
• Pack Down – Helping dismantle event setups post-event.
• Creating a Warm Atmosphere – Ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
