SPAR Weeke is looking for a Customer Team Member to support our store management team and create a positive customer experience. You will help maximise sales and profits by carrying out allocated tasks and maintaining high standards of service.

The role involves 10 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours including evenings and weekends, with pay up to £12.71 per hour depending on age; you will thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliable instruction-following.
• Understanding of retail legislation and compliance.
• Ability to contribute ideas for customer service and business growth.
• Experience with the Challenge 25 policy is desirable.
• Keen, enthusiastic team player who can work independently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist with inquiries.
• Process purchases at the tills accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell products and highlight multi-buy offers.
• Support store management to improve customer experience.
• Restock shelves, check deliveries and maintain clean sales floor.
• Date checks, stock and gap checks, price changes and displays.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
