Job summary

The Glee Club Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic bar staff member to join our team for 2-4 shifts per week, with availability most evenings and weekends, including bank holidays and New Year’s Eve. The role offers 12.71 per hour plus tips and a bonus scheme.

Shifts typically run 5pm–11:30pm, with 4–6 hour durations and occasional shorter 2–3 hour slots for those with other commitments. Cross-training to work across bar and floor is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and available to work weekends and evenings, including 31 December.
• Prefer cross-training and willingness to work across both bar and floor departments.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and prepare drinks accurately.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and setup during service.
• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Assist the bar manager with cellar tidying and deep cleans.
• Fulfil tasks during intervals and restock as needed.
