Job summary

The Glee Club Cardiff is seeking enthusiastic bar and floor staff to join our team in Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay. This role involves serving drinks, assisting with floor operations, and ensuring a high standard of customer service during peak show times.

Shifts are 5pm to 11:30pm on most evenings, including weekends and bank holidays. The position offers weekend/evening hours, a tips-based earnings potential, and a supportive, inclusive workplace culture where cross-training is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Available to work weekends and evenings.
• Cross-training across departments is encouraged.
• Able to work under pressure during busy shows.
• Friendly, inclusive and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and deliver correct food to tables.
• Carry trays and serve drinks to tables.
• Set up and pack away furniture safely.
• Maintain kitchen and wash up area cleanliness.
• Respond to customer issues effectively and efficiently.
• Polish cutlery, clean tables and distribute leaflets before doors.
• Support the venue across both departments as needed.
