Linx is seeking a Youth Support Worker in Gloucester to help shape futures by providing a consistent, caring adult role model for young people in residential care. You will engage with residents through daily activities, emotional support, and structured routines, contributing to a safe and supportive home environment.

The role involves 8am–11pm shifts with 11pm–8am sleep-ins, including a probation period with a welcome bonus and opportunities for progression.

Formación

• Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager — focused on outcomes for others.
• Experience with caring for young people preferred.
• Proficient with digital systems used to document records.

Responsabilidades

• Support each young person and advocate for normal development.
• Be emotionally available to listen to young people’s views and feelings.
• Promote positive relationships in a nurturing environment.
• Use Word and Outlook for emails.
• Engage in planned shared time within the home for the team and youths.
• Create a supportive home environment for growth.
