Unlocking Language is seeking freelance paediatric speech and language therapists to deliver home-based therapy during evenings and weekends. You will work one-to-one with children in their own homes, delivering therapy aligned to individual goals and activity plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on intervention with a focus on practical strategies for families, collaborative work with carers, and maintaining thorough clinical notes, while adhering to safeguarding and professional standards.

Competenze

• Must hold recognised SLT qualification.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Confident delivering paediatric therapy independently.
• Excellent communication with children and families.
• Organised and able to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Willing and able to travel to children's homes within agreed area.
• Previous paediatric experience desirable.

Mansioni

• Travel to children's homes to provide face-to-face speech and language therapy.
• Deliver individualised therapy based on the child's goals and programme.
• Plan engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy activities.
• Adapt sessions according to the child's communication needs and interests.
• Work collaboratively with parents and carers.
• Provide families with practical strategies and activities to continue between sessions.
• Complete clinical notes and documentation.
• Monitor and record progress towards therapy goals.
• Liaise with the wider clinical team when required.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Follow safeguarding and governance procedures.
• Work in alignment with HCPC and RCSLT standards.
