KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join its SEND Therapies team on an associate basis. The role involves direct therapy, assessment, AAC support, and training for staff and families, across school and community settings.

The successful applicant will work with children with complex communication needs and will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The position offers flexible hours and a supportive environment.

Competenze

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with children and young people.
• Experience in education or SEND settings is desirable.

Mansioni

• Provide speech and language therapy through individual, group or classroom-based sessions.
• Assess and support receptive and expressive language, speech and communication development.
• Develop functional communication strategies with education staff, families and other professionals.
• Assess communication competency and readiness for AAC.
• Provide training and guidance to parents, carers and education staff.
• Develop written programmes, targets and recommendations to support ongoing communication development.
• Review progress and adapt recommendations as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete relevant reports.
