Job summary

Blueleaf Limited in Castleford is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join the Operations team. You will perform picking, packing, labelling and loading of deliveries, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

This permanent full-time role covers 45 hours per week, 1:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to health and safety, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment at our Normanton site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with heavy goods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of health & safety, manual handling and hazardous substances
• Full driving licence preferred as role may involve moving delivery vans

Responsibilities

• Live and promote Blueleaf's Culture and Values
• Cover Goods in / Picking / Packing / MHE driving & tipping and loading of vehicles
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched to the required standard
• Liaise with Customer Service to provide timely information on consignments
• Check returns from company vehicles and produce delivery schedules
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear company-provided PPE
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and handle hazardous materials as required
• Assist with stock counts and replenishment of pick faces
• Cover driver absence when needed to ensure deliveries
