Job summary

Alliance Healthcare in Exeter is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This full-time evening role (14:00–22:00) focuses on accurate order picking, packing, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment to support daily operations.

You will work as part of a team and independently, with emphasis on attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to health and safety guidelines while contributing to efficient stock control and dispatch

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices
• Good level of physical fitness for manual handling tasks

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
• Receive and check incoming deliveries against documentation
• Safely store goods in the correct warehouse locations
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies
• Use warehouse systems and equipment where required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets
