Job summary

Alliance Healthcare is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Exeter for a 6-month fixed term contract with a part-time 20-hour week. The evening shift offers steady hours and a chance to gain practical warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.

Role focuses on picking, packing, receiving deliveries, stock checks, and maintaining safety and accuracy in daily operations. You’ll work with a supportive team and use warehouse systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices
• Good level of physical fitness for manual handling tasks

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
• Receive and check incoming deliveries against documentation
• Safely store goods in the correct warehouse locations
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies
• Use warehouse systems and equipment where required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets
