Job summary

Medivet Oldham Chadderton is seeking a Client Care Assistant for the late shift to join a busy, supportive team. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, delivering excellent service and helping ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Weekend cover at Ashton branch may be required on a 1 in 6 full weekends or 1 in 3 Saturdays rota.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or reception experience would be beneficial.
• Interest in animal welfare is a bonus.
• You’ll bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to clients and their pets.
• Managing appointments, telephone enquiries and general reception duties.
• Supporting the veterinary team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records.
• Keeping the reception and waiting areas clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Providing compassionate support to clients and helping make every visit as positive as possible.
