Job summary

Kenect Recruitment is hiring a Van Delivery Driver in Dordon, Tamworth for an ongoing temp-perm role. Deliveries are made to retail outlets across the Midlands; you may need to unload and load, and the job is physically demanding with on-the-job training provided.

Evening shifts run Sun–Fri, start times 16:00–18:00, and no Saturday work. Pay rates range from £14.40–£18.83 per hour with holiday pay; a £0.50 increase applies on permanent placement within 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 6 months.
• Experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles (ideally refrigerated).
• Be prepared to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Willing to attend a paid driving assessment and induction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to retail outlets across the Midlands.
• Unloading/loading when required; physically demanding role.
• On-the-job paid training provided; evening shifts.
• Rotating rest days; routes typically 8–10 hours; 5 shifts/week.
