Job summary

Bamford Academy, part of Altus Education Partnership in Rochdale, is looking for a Cleaner to join our school community. You will help keep classrooms, corridors and communal areas clean and safe, with supportive training provided.

You will work 3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday, with Real Living Wage pay and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. Experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be given.

Qualifications

• Punctual, reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Able to follow instructions, work to schedules and use initiative.
• Team player contributing to a professional, respectful environment.
• Willing to undertake relevant training (e.g., COSHH, manual handling, first aid).
• Committed to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
• Maintain toilet and washroom facilities; empty bins.
• Support periodic deep-cleaning tasks and COSHH procedures.
