Job summary

Oasis Academy Woodview in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join the site team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning services to maintain a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff.

This part-time position offers 15 hours per week, likely 3pm–6pm, with a start date as soon as possible. The role provides a Local Government Pension and uniform; previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, with Health & Safety training provided where

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to attend Health & Safety and safeguarding courses as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning of premises under supervision.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately and report low stocks.
• Ensure tools/equipment are in good working order and report faults.
• Keep cleaners’ cupboards and lockers clean and tidy.
• Post cleaning signs in wet or unsafe areas.
• Contribute to non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed.
• Assist with cleaning during school holidays as required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety at Work guidelines.
