Job summary

Overstone Gate Primary School, part of Wootton Park Academy Trust, is seeking a School Cleaner to join our new site in Overstone Leys. The role runs 3.30pm–7.30pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 20 hours per week across 40 weeks per annum (term time plus 5 training days and 5 deep clean days to be agreed).

Applicants should have good English, be reliable and value safeguarding; a DBS disclosure and compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in school or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Clear spoken and written English.
• DBS check and safeguarding awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms and communal areas.
• Empty bins, sweep, mop, dust and disinfect surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure security of premises.
