Job summary

Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust is seeking a responsible cleaner for our primary site in Winterborne Whitechurch, working 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks), plus 1 week/10 hours during the summer break to assist with a whole school deep clean.

The role involves cleaning designated areas, emptying bins, topping up consumables, moving furniture, and reporting issues to the Premises Manager to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in school settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas as per time allocation using mop, brush, duster, vacuum and polish
• Empty litter and dispose of waste according to school policies
• Move furniture and equipment as required for cleaning to access all areas
• Inform Premises Manager of issues needing attention (e.g. light bulbs, blocked toilets)
• Ensure doors and windows are secure and lights are turned off
