Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a cleaner for a 1-month contract at a school in Diss. Work 21.25 hours per week from 4:00 PM to 8:15 PM, at £16 per hour umbrella rate.

An enhanced DBS with barred list and a full UK driving licence are mandatory; prior school or public sector cleaning experience is preferred, with the ability to work independently and maintain high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a school, office, commercial, or public sector setting is preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Understanding of safe cleaning practices and procedures.
• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
• Full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the school premises.
• Vacuum carpets and floor areas.
• Mop hard floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and related facilities.
• Wipe and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and touchpoints.
• Empty internal bins and manage waste disposal appropriately.
