Rochdale Council invites applications for an Evening Cleaner at Edgar Wood Academy in Heywood, 4pm–7pm. This permanent, part-time role (15 hours/week) runs term-time plus four weeks, with a salary on the support staff scale. The post offers structured hours between school term dates and school holidays.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors and restrooms, maintaining hygiene, and reporting safety concerns. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors and restrooms to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and dispose of waste daily.
• Replenish soap and toilet paper as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and follow health and safety procedures.
• Follow school policies during duty hours.
