Job summary

SCC is recruiting a Recycling Operative in Birmingham for an onsite role with a 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday schedule. The position is temporary, offering a £13.45 hourly rate via Umbrella company.

You will help ensure items are recorded and compliant, maintaining audit trails and data security throughout the process. The role requires good IT equipment knowledge, strong organisational skills, and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar operational role or able to be trained effectively.
• Ability to communicate at all levels clearly and professionally.
• Must be computer literate and able to use standard IT systems.
• Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Process customer units within agreed OLAs/SLAs with attention to detail.
• Maintain accreditation by following approved procedures and standards.
• Achieve KPIs to maximise productivity while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with Service Desk to meet SLA targets and customer needs.
• Undertake training to stay current with processes and procedures.
• Promote information security and service management best practices.
