Job summary

apetito Limited in the UK is recruiting for a wash-up team member for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:00. You will wash and sanitize tote bins, trays and equipment and support line changeovers.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.78 plus bonus and benefits, with opportunities to learn multiple tasks within the meals department. Ideal candidates have good maths and English, a positive attitude and team spirit, and are willing to develop in a busy food manufacturing

Qualifications

• Essential: Good maths and English; positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles.
• Essential: Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
• Desirable: Hygiene/ cleaning experience and food manufacturing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• High pressure wash tote bins, baths, racks and sanitize items.
• Wash and sanitize tubs and trays in tray wash.
• Dismantle and clean depositors, reassemble and sign off.
• Dismantle and clean meat slicers with water and detergent, then sanitize.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the area and change sanitizer every two hours.
• Support line changeovers and provide break cover when needed.
