Job summary

apetito is the UK’s leading food supplier to the health and social care sectors, serving over 1,300 care homes and other settings. The role is based in Wiltshire (Trowbridge) on a permanent full-time basis in the Meals department, offering a comprehensive benefits package and a structured training program.

The position involves working on production lines with a focus on quality, hygiene and safety, with a salary of £13.80 per hour plus shift allowances and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Good standards in English and Maths.
• Willingness to learn new tasks within the department.
• Promote good team work and help others.

Responsibilities

• Put in vegetables/potato products on the line.
• Hand placing items up to 3–4 per line.
• Correct weights to keep waste to a minimum.
• Changeovers: empty bins and waste tubs, keep area clean.
• Weigh on multi-portion and twin-portion lines at required speed.
