Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd is partnering with Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers in Plymouth. The role involves sorting mail, collecting the vehicle, and delivering letters and parcels to the local community.

The shift is 15:00–21:00 with 30–40 hours per week, outdoors in all weather, and requires a responsible, customer-focused approach. Candidates should be able to work well both independently and as part of a team; a DBS check will be completed before start and a full UK manual driving licence

Qualifications

• Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
• You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
• A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
• Maximum 6 penalty points

Responsibilities

• Start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route.
• Collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer detailing your route and tracking your mail.
• Deliver the letters and parcels to your local community.
