Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Production Operative in Callan to join a hands-on team producing pork products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You may work across processing, cutting, packing, labeling and other production areas; full training is provided with opportunities to learn and progress within the business.

Pay: €14.40 per hour. Location: Callan. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm.

Qualifications

• Reliable and practical, able to work as part of a busy production team.
• Willing to follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Able to check product quality and assist with packing and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely following training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.
