Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Westerleigh is seeking Packing Operatives for the Bulk Pork Packing Department. You will rotate across areas including the box room, freezer lines and carousel, learning skills and progressing within the business.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 06:00am - 14:30pm, at Westerleigh, BS37 8QZ. Training is provided to support growth and health, safety and hygiene compliance are priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable, though training is provided.
• Willingness to learn in semi-skilled roles.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is carried out to meet production deadlines.
• Seek training to maintain skills and stay up to date with best practices.
• Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Maintain equipment and machinery; report faults to management promptly.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties to meet business needs.
