Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is hiring a Production Operative in Malton. You will join a hands-on team to prepare and process pork products safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Training is provided to help you develop skills and progress within the company.

Role may involve processing, cutting, trimming, packing, labelling and general production tasks. Pay is £12.75 per hour, with Thursday–Saturday 6:30am–6:30pm shifts, and opportunities to grow within a large meat production business.

Qualifications

• Reliable and practical individual with good teamwork.
• Willing to follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Willing to learn and follow training to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely after training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.
