Job summary

Royal Mail are seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters across the local community. You will work on a defined route, driving or walking, delivering quickly and with friendly service, while upholding high standards. A DBS check is part of the application process and a full UK driving licence is required.

Shift times are 14:00–20:00, 5 days a week from Monday to Saturday, with a basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour. This is a temporary position with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters on a defined route, driving and/or walking as required.
• Maintain high service standards and friendly customer interactions.
• Sort mail/parcels at the delivery office when needed.
