Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters on a dedicated route in the community, helping keep the country connected. The role involves driving and/or walking with a focus on reliable, friendly service.

You will handle mail sorting when needed and work five days a week (Mon–Sat) with shifts 09:00–15:00. A valid UK driving licence and DBS check are part of the application process, with a basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour.

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently on a dedicated route (driving and/or walking).
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as needed.
• Maintain high integrity standards and friendly customer service.
• Work a minimum of five days a week (Mon–Sat), shift 09:00–15:00.
