Delivery Driver – Parcels & Letters on Local Routes

Royal Mail are looking for Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters on a fixed daytime route, delivering with care and consistency to communities. You will drive and/or walk the route and may help with sorting mail at the delivery office. A DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Shifts run Monday to Saturday (9:00–15:00) with a minimum of five days per week and a basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour. This temporary role suits reliable, outdoors‑macing individuals.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated personality.
• Love of the outdoors in all weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet job demands.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office when required.
