Job summary

Storal is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner for Gelston Manor Nursery School. You will maintain a clean, safe environment, follow the cleaning schedule, and work with the educator team to support daily operations.

The role requires cleaning experience, enthusiasm, and knowledge of hygiene, health and safety, COSHH, and safeguarding considerations. DBS checks are part of the safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness.
• An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting.
• Follow the cleaning schedule and ensure areas are clean, tidy, safe and well cared for.
• Manage cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Work with educator team to report and address issues quickly and safely.
