Job summary

Voyage Care in Farnham is seeking a caring Support Worker to help people gain more independence within a supportive team. You will assist with daily living activities, independent living skills, and community engagement.

You will also support with personal care and encourage outings, socialising, and activities. A full UK driving licence and DBS checks are required; training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Holding a full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrated resilience and flexibility in care roles.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs including mental health, autism or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily living within a team.
• Teach life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage community access, socialising and activities.
• Accompany people to local bars, pubs or cinema and unwind with activities.
