Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our busy Deeside laboratory on a 12-8pm, Monday-Friday shift. A science background and education to A Level standard are preferable but not essential for the right candidate.

The role involves extractions, basic analysis, record keeping, equipment calibration, and reporting results via LIMS. Full training will be provided, and the position offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to high-volume routine analysis and

Qualifications

• Science background; A Level preferable but not essential.
• Right aptitude or relevant experience will be considered.
• Full training will be provided.
• Experience in a laboratory, preferably processing soils and waters.
• Highly motivated and organised with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking a variety of extractions or sample preparation.
• Undertaking basic analysis following standard procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records, calibrating equipment and general housekeeping.
• Reporting of results using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
• Ad hoc duties as required.
