Job summary

Fresh Kitchen in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Food Production Supervisor to lead production teams in a hands-on role, working 40 hours weekly from Wednesday to Sunday 4pm–1am, with peak-season flexibility. You will ensure food safety standards and drive continuous improvement on site at the Sysco facility.

The role involves product trials, development of new lines, and delivering timely production data to support costings, with a strong focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production with knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP and BRC principles.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards in a production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to production colleagues and support the leadership team.
• Drive compliance with food safety standards and daily production planning.
• Facilitate product trials and contribute to development of new product lines.
• Produce regular production data and performance reports for costings and management.
