Sysco is hiring a Production Operative at the Bicester depot. You will help ensure freshly prepared products are delivered on time, while maintaining quality, legality, and safety. The role involves receiving goods, stock rotation, and meeting production schedules in a chilled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety would be an advantage.
• Able to work in a temperature controlled environment.
• Be part of a team and learn quickly.

4pm to 1am

As a?Production Operativein our Bicester depot, youll play an important part ensuring our freshly prepared products are delivered on time to meet our customer demands.

Your role is to ensure that products manufactured at Fresh Kitchen are handled and managed to the agreed production schedule and that they comply with specific customer requirement with key focus on product quality, legality and safety and overall presentation of product to the customer. In addition, key areas of responsibility include receiving goods in, maintaining good stock rotation/management and working towards targets and deadlines.

To join us as a Production Operative, youll be comfortable working in a temperature controlled (chilled) environment dont worry well give uniform to keep you warm! You will be handling and preparing various food products including meat and fish and spend most of the day on your feet. Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.
