Fresh Kitchen in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Food Production Supervisor to lead production teams in a hands-on role, working 40 hours weekly from Wednesday to Sunday 4pm–1am, with peak-season flexibility. This Production Supervisor role is a hands‑on Production Operative role where you will beinvolved in a wide variety of tasks from an operational and compliance perspective. You will have high standards and expected to lead by example. Sharing knowledge ofprevious experience of food production to confidently be an example of relevant food safety legislation, HACCP and BRC principles at all times. This is a varied opportunity, where you will support in achieving exemplary service but also in actively setting a positive, upbeat, safe environment for our colleagues.
This role will be customer facing, both internally and externally, the successful individual will be expected to be pro‑active and have the ability to resolve day to day queries escalating to the technical manager and production manager when required. This position will give you anopportunity to support the leadership team with product trials, organoleptic and microbiological testing and actively involved in the development of new product lines.
To join us in this role you will bestrongly self‑motivated withan eye for detail and good observation skills. The key to success is to be accurate and concisemaintaining a solutions driven mindset using product knowledge for ensuring that compliance with the specification is achieved to the necessary specifications against the daily/weekly production plan for customer, legislative & food safety requirements. You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition toIT literacy to provide regular production data and performance reports to assist in business management and product costings.
