Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a 6-month fixed-term contract at the GSK HQ, London. The role covers 36 hours weekly, with shifts Mon-Fri 17:00–23:20 and Sat 9:00–15:20, at £14.80 per hour, plus Sodexo employee benefits.

The job focuses on delivering day-to-day facilities services, maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards across allocated floors, and ensuring continuity during maternity cover with timely, professional service.

• Service, replenish stock, clean and maintain housekeeping areas to standard.
• Respond to customer requests professionally and promptly.
• Maintain washrooms, kitchens, and fridge areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Manage waste disposal and confidential waste per procedures.
• Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests across the site.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear company uniform correctly.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and site rules.
• Attend required training and development sessions.
