Job summary

Sodexo in London is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our corporate site, working 20 hours per week from 17:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday. You will be part of a team that keeps offices and communal areas sparkling and welcoming.

You should bring a positive, professional approach and good attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and with colleagues. Prior cleaning or facilities experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management is beneficial.
• Customer-focused and professional approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled and reactive cleaning throughout the workplace.
• Maintain offices, workstations, meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and communal areas to a high standard.
• Keep client-facing areas clean, tidy and ready for use throughout the day.
• Clean desks, workplace equipment and high-contact surfaces in line with site procedures.
• Maintain kitchenettes, tea points, vending areas and break-out spaces.
• Ensure washrooms are consistently maintained to excellent hygiene and presentation standards.
• Vacuum, mop and spot-clean floors as required.
• Empty waste and recycling and ensure correct waste segregation.
• Replenish soap, paper products, refreshments and other workplace consumables.
• Complete periodic and deep-cleaning tasks when required.
• Proactively monitor the workplace and address issues before they impact users.
• Support meeting room setups, furniture adjustments and general housekeeping.
• Respond professionally to requests from colleagues, clients and visitors.
• Safely use cleaning equipment, machinery and products.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, Security and Environmental procedures.
