Job summary

First Call Contract Services, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Export Clerk (with a path to Senior Export Clerk) to join a fast-paced late-shift operation in Greater London.

You will be responsible for processing export entries and preparing MAWBs/HAWBs to ensure on-time shipments. The role requires strong knowledge of export paperwork and customs procedures, with a clear potential for senior duties for those with advanced experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in export operations within air freight forwarding, logistics, or international supply chain.
• Direct experience using customs entry systems and export paperwork (MAWBs, HAWBs, C88/CDS).
• Ability to work the 15:30–00:00 late shift and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Documentation & Entry Processing: produce and process export docs (MAWBs, HAWBs, invoices, and customs declarations).
• Customs Compliance: complete customs entries per UK regulations and tariff requirements.
• Carrier & Stakeholder Liaison: coordinate with airlines, forwarders, and internal teams.
• Exception Handling: resolve live customs holds or paperwork issues during the evening shift.
• Record Keeping & Compliance: maintain accurate transaction records and audit trails.
